I got flowers yesterday - for a special occasion...Thank You:s to all of the people who remembered me...one of them was Seijasisko ! She came to the workshop at the museum I´m practising on for help with her beautiful rya she is working on, the nice tulips are from her. The rya is going to look awesome on her sofa!

Sain kukkasia eilen - tietynlaisen tilaisuuden vuoksi...Kiitokset kaikille niille jotka muistivat minua...yksi heistä oli Seijasisko ! Hän käväisi työpajassa jossa harjoittelen museolla, koska tarvitsi apua kauniin ryijynsä valmistamisessa, samalla hän luovutti tulppaaneja. Ryijy tulee näyttämään upealta hänen sohvallaan!

I´ve been felting slippers. The red ones´ are my first attempt - they´re a little to big for my feet...probably a EU size 39-40. The grey ones´ are perfect for me and I think I´ll make some more in different colors. They are fresh from the washer and I have´nt sewn on buttons yet...

Olen huovuttanut tossuja. Punaiset on ensimmäinen yritys - ne ovat hieman liian isot minun jalkoihin...koko ehkä joku 39-40. Harmaat ovat just sopivat ja luulen että teen näitä lisää eri väreissä. Otin ne juuri pesukoneesta enkä ole ommellut niihin vielä nappeja....

Slippers for H, my eldest daughter. Size 37-38 (UK sizes 4½-5, US sizes 5½-6). She loves yellow. Always has. They are made in Sandnes Fritidsgarn and are felted (fulled) in the washer. The pattern was in the finnish magazine Moda 6/2005.

Right now I´m working on another pair of slippers, also in Fritidsgarn, but they will will be more ballerina-like....hope they turn out well.

Vanhimmalle tyttärelle H valmistetut tossut. Koko on 37-38. Hän rakastaa keltaista. On aina rakastanut. Käytin näihin Sandnes Fritidsgarnia ja ne on huovutettu pesukoneessa. Ohje löytyi Moda-lehdestä 6/2005.

Tällä hetkellä työstän toisenlaista tossuparia. Niistä tulee enemmän balleriinatossujen tapaiset....toivottavasti onnistuvat.
